Joanne Palmaro // Influencer Content Creation with Topshop

When I first got into fashion photography as a teenager, it was the dawn of the fashion blogger. One of my closest friends at the time, Kristina Bazan, had just started sharing outfits on a website called Lookbook.nu (remember?!), and we worked together a couple of times to shoot her outfit shots. This was my introduction to the influencer world.

What a world it has become!

I’ve always been fascinated by influencers (as they’re now known), and even wrote my university dissertation on how the internet was impacting the fashion industry (it was 2013/2014… so it was still pretty new!). Getting to work with some of them now, as a full blown adult, and a professional fashion photographer, feels pretty cool.

I was asked by the lovely Ifrah at Linden Staub to spend a few hours with one of their girls, Joanne Palmaro, and follow her to a fitting at Topshop. These are the results of what was a very speedy shoot in central London on a very cold day.

If you’d like me to work on any influencer campaigns you create in future, please feel free to get in touch!
