Original Art

My painting and mixed media work is rooted in watercolour, using intuitive wet-on-wet techniques to let colour move, bleed, and soften. After fifteen years as a fashion photographer, I no longer document what I see, but reimagine it by capturing atmosphere, emotion, and beauty rather than form, through a layered, intuitive mark-making process.

Watercolor paints, paintbrush, and paper on a wooden table, with a pink drink and a pillow featuring a pig image in the background.
Multiple watercolor paintings of rainbow-colored unicorns on white paper, some on a wooden surface and one in a sketchbook.
Watercolor painting of a stylized zebra with red, pink, beige, and brown stripes on a white background.
A framed watercolor painting of a flower arrangement in a blue and white vase hangs on a gray wall. Below, a wooden dresser with three drawers holds a brown mug, a small orange pumpkin, and a book titled "KINFOLK." Part of a bed with white bedding is visible in the lower left corner.
Inside a cozy dining room with a wooden table, pink curtains, and a view of a snowy backyard through glass doors. On the table are a flower vase with tulips, two lit pink candles, an open sketchbook, a watercolor painting, a box of colored pencils, and a small box of matches. There is a cushioned chair with a fluffy throw near the table.
