Carrie, the lovely designer behind "Jewel Box Cornwall" approached me towards the summer of 2016 because she needed new imagery to use in the marketing of her brand. Carrie had never produced a photoshoot before, so approached me with a broad idea of what she wanted. Over the course of a few weeks, we pieced together a plan: thanks to a collaborative Pinterest board, Carrie began to pin images she liked, and it gave me a good idea of the kind of work she wanted. I sourced a model, dress and make up artist, and suggested a location which would meet her needs (Chapel Porth beach) and one windy summers evening, we set off to shoot. The aim for Carrie was simple: she needed bright, romantic, beautiful images that would inspire brides to purchase her pieces to wear on their wedding days. We took a lot of inspiration from the TV series, Poldark, and embraced the natural environment which surrounded us.
