The first time I met Gemma, the weather was vastly different to what you see in these images. It was a very cold, January day, and we were at Tregothnan Estate, preparing to shoot a wedding styled shoot. The weather really couldn't have been worse, but I can so clearly remember Gemma being totally unfazed by it. In fact, when I asked her if this was a challenge, she said she was used to lugging furniture around in the pouring rain.
Gemma is the brains behind Box and Cox Vintage Hire, and now also, Space & Rock, a new wedding directory for spaces which rock! The idea behind her newest venture is to be a directory for locations without a wedding licence. Think barns, old farms, ruins, estates. Sort of the like the Air B'n'B of the wedding industry.
Yes, it's genius, and I couldn't think of anyone better suited to create and run it!
Gemma emailed me a few weeks ago to ask if I could do some new headshots for her, so of course I said yes. We met up on a sunny Monday morning, and I was super excited to get a chance to shoot something, as it was my first time out of the house working since we got Milo! We walked around, chatting work, life and everything in between for an hour, stopping every once in a while to take a few snaps.
Let me know if you'd like to have some headshots taken as well! I've got 6 slots left between October and December, and my headshot prices are currently all 10% off!
