I love the alliteration in that title ;)
I'm super excited to share these images with you today, because they were shot for some really lovely people, for a brand that I really love! Crew Clothing asked me to shoot some social media imagery for them a few weeks ago, specifically, they needed images of the sea. Their brief was quite specific, which was super helpful because it gave me really clear direction. Believe it or not, there's nothing worse than a brief which is left too broad... because when the possibilities are endless, it's quite hard to narrow down exactly what you want to shoot!
They needed coastal images. Nothing too "yachty", nothing too "stormy," or too romantic. Think crisp and clear coastal images. The emphasis was also not to be on "seaside holidays." They even gave me a colour pallet of "blue and white" which helped as well.
I headed down to St Ives on a sunny Friday afternoon, which happens to be a town that Crew Clothing have a store in, so that tied in quite nicely. To say I was lucky with the weather was an understatement... the only little thing I could have done with was a flatter sea.. but I won't be picky!
A huge thank you to Crew Clothing for letting me work on this project with them. I look forward to shooting more for them in future!
In the meantime, if you're a brand looking for new visual content for your brands social media or website, then feel free to get in touch!
